I didn't know what I needed for my little car (a 1988 325 Convertible) in anticipation of a 2000+ mile road trip but they took care of everything.

I started my road trip with a much-improved car and I had a nice journey.

I arrived safely and without incident (except for a speeding ticket -- maybe it ran too well)!

The E30 with the M10 engine (in other words, the 1984-1985 318i) uses a different front sub-frame than any of the other E30 models. The part number is 1126427.

The E30 ix, as in the 4-wheel drive model, comes only with the M20 engine. That also uses a different front sub-frame than any of the other E30 models. Its part number is 1134834 and there’s an alternate part number of 1701064 too.

The E30 M3 uses a different-yet front sub-frame.

All other E30 models sold in the US (318ic, 318is, 325, 325e, 325es, 325i, 325is, 325ic) use yet another variation of the front sub-frame. Its part number is 1126428 and there’s an alternate part number of 1130707 too.
